FICRA is hosting a Pierce County Council District 7 Candidate Forum to help Fox Island voters hear directly from the candidates about the issues affecting the community.
Chuck West and Mike Solan have accepted the invitation to participate. Brenda Lykins has declined. Topics will include the Fox Island bridge, the sandspit, Tacoma Narrows Airport traffic, sheriff staffing, and other community concerns.
The forum will be held Monday, July 13, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Nichols Community Center. FICRA is taking no position on any candidate.
